Competition Rules


The festival hub will be in the lush open-air space adjacent to the Eumundi Markets in Napier Rd Eumundi. If you are putting this into your Maps app, the exact address is 35 Napier Rd, Eumundi. (not to be confused with Don Napier Rd, which is close by).

Sorry but no chairs will be allowed into the festival site.

Yes, you can bring a blanket or small cushion to sit on.

No food or drinks will be allowed into the venue. You may bring an EMPTY water bottle to refill at our filling stations.

We love dogs, but please leave your fur baby at home for this one.

You sure can! There will be great local food options available from our food stalls and vans, with vegetarian and gluten free options.

YES, you can park at the festival! We have a fantastic car park right beside the festival ground that you can park in for a flat fee of $7. The car park will be open for the Eumundi Markets from early on SAT 27 Nov, but might be busy during peak Markets time so plan to come in just prior to gates opening & you should be right. If you plan to drive, make sure you organise a designated driver & car pool to be safe & save space.

We have specified dancing areas so you can dance for sure! We will help everyone keep their distance and there is plenty of room. This is not a seated event. Stage diving, crowd surfing and circle pits are however not permitted. Moshing will not be allowed.

No pass-outs will be allowed from the main festival site in Napier Rd, Eumundi.

We have OFFBEAT Bus Tickets home on sale for just under $10 to three locations on the Sunshine Coast - Maroochydore Bus Depot, Noosa Junction Bus Depot and Nambour. There is limited availability, so best to book these when you book your tickets. Alternatively, you can look at ride share options like Shebah and Uber. Taxis are hard to get late at night here in Eumundi so please plan ahead, so you don't get stuck.

We will have two bars on site serving up Eumundi Brewery beers and Eumundi Distillers’ Folktale Gin. Entry to the event is strictly 18+ only. All alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the festival grounds. Bags will be inspected upon entry by security. No alcohol may be brought in to the festival as it’s against liquor licensing laws. Anyone found trying to enter the festival with alcohol may be refused entry and the alcohol will be confiscated.

Yes! Any bag you bring with you will be checked on entry. Please ensure you have read our T & C’s prior to arriving at the event. Obviously, banned items/substances will not be allowed into the event.

• Empty re-usable water bottle – there will be plenty of places to fill up
• Sun protection! Hat, shirt and sunscreen
• Photo ID – you must present your ID on entry to the festival to validate age. OFFBEAT is an 18+ event
• Medication – there will be First Aid services on site for emergencies, but please bring any medications/treatments you might require if you suffer from a serious illness or condition, such as epilepsy or asthma
• Remember to include your contact details on any medication
• Wet-weather gear – a little bit of rain won’t stop the festival! No umbrellas please
• Your Eftpos, credit or debit card

You will need to download the Qld QR Tracing App prior to the festival. You will be required to check in using the QR code before entering the festival. This is mandatory as per Queensland Health Guidelines. The QR code will be available at Festival entry and on buses home. If you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol you will be refused entry to the event. The event is fully fenced and patrolled by our Security personnel. Illegal trespassers will be referred to onsite Police. Offbeat Music Festival is a Covid Safe event and will be operating in accordance with guidelines and advise from Queensland Health in order to keep patrons safe, our artists in paid work and our live music events alive. Festival patrons will be expected to work with us to stick to the rules.
